PROFILE

Former presenter, award winning commercial producer and programme director, Phil Hilton has worked in major markets in both the UK and Ireland on music and talk based formats. He spent six years as part of a troubleshooting team within BBC Broadcast turning around poorly performing stations, commissioning musical identities and sonic branding. As a trainer, Phil advises station staff on making the most of ratings development opportunities, presentation and promotions producing techniques, building and developing a station sound.

Phil has won awards at Promax, Vox Commercial Awards and the New York Radio Awards, he has been responsible for commissioning on-air promotional campaigns across all platforms and assessing station requirements, briefing musicians and composers as part of the station ID commissioning process.
